The digital model for this print was taken by the artist using photogrammetry of a terracotta modello for the Triton Fountain in Piazza Navona, Rome, made by Gian Lorenzo Bernini in 1653, at the Kimbell Art Museum, Fort Worth TX. This digital copy leaves out the figure that stands on a rock and shell base in Bernini’s modello.
